There are some things that you can get away without having, but there are those that you need.  Not only do they make life easier, they also speed up the time in which you can create a meal.  Now this is important!  As a working mother of two, I’m forever trying to fit 25 hours in a day, so anything that assists me todo that is great in my books.

Here is a list of kitchen utensils and appliances that I can’t live without:

  • potato peeler (a really good sharp one)
  • grater
  • spiralizer
  • powerful blender
  • food processor
  • juicer
  • non-stick frying pan
  • salad spinner
  • a good sharp knife

Lacinato-Kale

Every person has staple foods that they must have in their lives.  Living on plant foods, means that there is an abundance of delicious produce and staples that live in my fridge and pantry.  I only buy a small amount of packaged foods as I prefer to make all of my meals from scratch.   It’s not as time consuming as some may think. The first thing you need to do is stock up on all the essentials, and then food preparation becomes a breeze.

In my pantry I keep:

  • gluten free oats
  • Bob red mills GF flour

  • avocados

In my freezer:
